My eCoach was first introduced to me by my Instructional Technology professor, Dr. Peggy Benton at San Francisco State University.  It provided a simple interface to make web pages, ideal for quick projects/workshops.  I found that I had more time to concentrate on content rather than fiddling with web development software.

I was able to include some advanced features into the project using Web 2.0 services such as VoiceThread, Weebly, embedded flash videos, and custom html without issues.  One particular feature of the project that I enjoyed making was the flowchart.  The graphic was created in Lucidcharts, imported into Adobe Fireworks to create a HTML Hotspot Map, make it click-able and then integrate the html into My eCoach effortlessly without any coding or headache in probably less than 20 minutes.

With the extra time my classmate, Becky Wong, and I were able to create more meaningful instructional content, graphics, and an overall well structured curriculum for the workshop.  The results were a success and we all felt that the students benefited from the interactive elements and resourcefulness of a web-based instruction over paper instruction.

Khaled’s first project listed below was designed to aid a friend of his who is a high school college/career adviser. The last project listed was co-authored with Lynn Cox. Thank you, Kahaled, for sharing your talent and skills with others as you pursue your career.

"My eCoach has proved to be a simple and easy to use resource for designing websites for various lesson topics. Before I was introduced to My eCoach, I had no prior knowledge on how to design a website. Now that I have a membership to it, I know that I can quickly log-on to design a website where I can post resources, weblinks, documents, images, video/audio samples, etc.

My students have greatly enjoyed working on the websites that I’ve created (little do they know how easily I was able to make them because of the "Clone this" feature). They especially appreciate the fact that they can leave comments on the pages. And what’s great is that I can monitor each of the comments before I allow them to be published."
