What is eCoaching?
eCoaching helps you get better at whatever you do and guides individuals and organizations towards realizing specific goals and shared visions:
  • through online training, facilitation and support
  • using outside programs and/or the My eCoach program
  • in an effective and sustainable, train-the-trainer model
We help organizations determine their goals, refine expectations, find strengths of each member, choose the appropriate people from their organization to be eCoaches, design an effective and sustainable program to reach those goals, and train and support the eCoaches in implementing their program. Every person and program is unique. Planning is the key to a successful program. Let our staff and Certificated eCoaches help customize a plan to attain your organizations’ vision.

Who can Benefit from eCoaching?
Any individual or any group, school, district, company, or organization who:
  • has a vision that affects a large group but is not sure how to reach it.
  • has a vision that affects one person or a small group but is not sure how to reach it.
  • knows their team needs professional development but is not sure what to do next and what their goals are.
  • is having a problem communicating their expectations to their team.
  • is not satisfied with the direction of their current professional development program.
  • wants team engagement and a successful, sustained online community.
  • needs a plan that utilizes their own system and/or people.
  • needs a plan that supplements traditional training methods with an online platform for support, resources, communication, collaboration, etc.
  • is required to have their course or classroom be available online.
  • has regular online meetings.
  • wants team members to have a feeling of ownership.
The process of eCoaching is more than the technology or the online tools: it is the people. The power of eCoaching and online facilitation is knowing how to build and sustain an online community. It is more than just creating a website or blog and hoping that people read and comment on it. An online facilitator fosters engagement based on motivation of meeting learning goals.

What Makes a Good eCoach?
Many people think that simply because they have technical skills or know how to train/mentor/coach others that they will be good eCoach. There are specific skills a facilitator needs to make an online group or class successful:
  • careful observation before reacting
  • empathy for diverse learners
  • active listening skills
  • sensitivity to overall group dynamics
  • background on design of online communities
  • how to foster engagement and determine motivation
  • courage to allow the group to move into areas where the facilitator may not feel comfortable
Selecting the appropriate eCoach for your vision can determine the success rate of your program. We have over 15 years of eCoaching experience and have worked with groups, districts, schools, and organizations worldwide. Let our team work with you to correctly select team leaders who will guide your program to success.

We also offer
Basic eCoach Training for individuals without teams who want to become eCoaches and an eCoach Certification program for existing eCoaches who want to create and promote their own teams.

"I really enjoyed learning to use the new Universal Builder. Whether I return a day or a week later, I feel confident that I can utilize the new universal builder tool without having to relearn the process. I have definitely found a personal and professional use for this builder that I did not discover with the older builders.
