Private Rooms under Teams

By Barbara Bray      January 28, 2010 -- 10:11 AM
When you set up your team in My eCoach for your coaching program, you can now assign subteams, or "Private Rooms," for confidential conversations with one or more of your members. This unique, coaching feature helps extend the meaning of one-on-one virtual coaching or mentoring. The only people that can have a private room are members of your team. The eCoach is the only one that can set up and add members to the private rooms.

ILPs ensure a successful coaching program. Currently our ILPs are available to all My eCoach members and work best if the user is part of a team with an eCoach who can provide ongoing feedback. ...   more...

New Look

By Barbara Bray      April 27, 2009 -- 08:35 AM
Lots of exciting things are happening with My eCoach. One is our new look. After 12 years with the same logo, we thought it was time to change to represent people helping each other and coaching.

My eCoach provides tools all in one place but it’s not the tools that make My eCoach. It’s the people, the coaching, and that My eCoach is an umbrella larger community for all the members. There ...   more...

By Barbara Bray      June 26, 2008 -- 12:52 PM
Pinellas County Schools received the EETT grant again to expand the cross-age cross curriculum projects they started in 2006. Barbara spent a week with a fantastic group of eMentors from Kings Highway Elementary School and John F. Kennedy Middle School. The focus is on science where there will be six new cross-age projects. The topics so far include the Changing Earth, Forms of Energy, Habitats and Life Cycles, Force and Motion, Ecology and Ecosystems, and Space. This ...   more...
