You will work in 4 project teams. Each team will create a PowerPoint presentation of it’s topic.
Team 1 will explore the current research on the effectiveness of technology integration.
Team 2 will explore and and determe the best stategies for effectively integrating technology in a school district.
Team 3 will discover the best leadership strategies for managing change.
Team 4 will define and explore strategies for effective technology staff development
Each team will create a 3 minute presentation (PowerPoint) that they will present to the entire group.
Each team will dermine who will be the team leader, the researchers, the technology whiz who will construct the PowerPoint presentation, and the presenter.
Activity Directions
1. Open the Web Resource List in the Resource's Section below. 2. Determine who in your group will do the research, create the PowerPoint presentation, be the team leader, be the presenter(s). 3. Divide up the research (jigsaw method) and begin researching the topic and bookmarking information and taking notes 4. Discuss the essential question your team will answer to come to a common understanding of what critical information you must include. 5. Work with your technology guru who is putting together the PowerPoint presentation to make sure all critical invformation is included. 6. Present your presention to the entire group (3 minute presentation). 7. Include time in your presentation for comments and question.
