Excel can be used for more than just tables of data and creating graphs. Excel can be used to create timelines. In this activity, you will research the history of baseball and select 10 major events in the history of baseball. You will use Excel to to create a timeline displaying these events.
1. View the timeline examples below to develop an understanding of the final project.
2. Visit the baseball history websites listed below to select 10 important events from baseball history. Record dates, events, and descriptions of events in a Word docoument.
3. Follow the steps provided in "How to Create a Timeline in Excel".
4. Your completed timeline should include a title, 10 events with descriptions, and 5 or more meaningful images.
