San Francisco Museum of Modern Art

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) offers a variety of rich resources for students and teachers on the web that enhance the experience of visiting the museum in person. Information about and examples of the work of over 1500 artists, along with interactive explorations that include commentary, short movies, text, and images, make this site one well worth visiting. Even more interesting is the extensive "Making Sense of Modern Art" presentation.
