MythWeb

By Joel Skidmore
Citing from some of the greatest ancient texts, this site offers a comprehensive mythology of the Greek gods and heroes and their stories. A few of the stories offer animated slide shows to assist in the storytelling process. The stories are all comprehensive, told in easy-to-follow language, though they often quote from texts such as those authored by Homer. A new section of the site explores the question of whether the Greek myths are still relevant today. There is also an encyclopedia of terms and a teachers' section.

"Thank you for such a well designed site for this course! All the links work, and it is easy to maneuver from one place to another. I like how the assignments are clearly listed and have the date next to them. I can get right to learning when I log on rather than struggling to figure out how how to get from place to place. I’m taking another online course now and it is a nightmare and very frustrating.

Thanks for making this a good experience!"
