Olympic Primer

When Los Angeles hosted the Olympic games in 1984, they created this website to offer information on the Olympic games. There's a full history of the Olympic games, including ancient games, the birth of the modern Olympic movement, the Olympiads, and the first modern Olympic games. There's also information on the various Olympic committees, cities that have hosted the Olympics in the past, the symbolism behind the Olympic rings and the mascots chosen for the '84 Olympics.
