A Book in Time

By Carol Henderson
A Book in Time was written by a teacher for other teachers. The original project started simply as a chronological history booklist, but listings of crafts, timelines, maps, and other resources have been added over the years. The purpose is to help history teachers find all kinds of extracurricular resources to enrich their classes!

Essential Question(s)
1. What books enhance the understanding of important eras, people, and events in a typical study of history?

"Over the last few years, I have had my tech-savvy friends and colleagues searching for a robust, interactive web portal to support the development of an interdependent learning community for site and district administrators. About a year ago, My eCoach was suggested as the perfect fit for the multi-dimensional support system I sought. Since then, the County Office has adopted My eCoach as the venue to house the curriculum, practicum portfolios, and sustained follow-up our state-legislated AB 430 Administrator Training Program.

My eCoach has accelerated the learning and motivation of our participants, engaged them in a growing professional learning community about the real-time issues they face in school and district administration, and challenged us all to join the 21st Century in both word and deed!"
