Summary
Students will select 10 facts from the resources listed. They will create a paragraph using these facts and a guide sheet handout. A translator site and graphics enhanced links are included here.

Rationale
This project was originally designed as a pre reading assignment for an 8th grade , Title I class.
We felt the students needed background material before reading the upcoming selection which heavily dealt with the Sioux culture.
Multimodality resources, support links and clear expectations will help all students attain success as they develop vocabulary and writing concepts.
