Introduction

After you learn how to create a website either with HTML or using a web authoring tool, it is a good idea to review what is good design and the criteria for an effective website. Review some of the websites below to help you determine what is good and bad design and in understanding the criteria for evaluating websites.

Usability is a concern for all web designers. Can your users easily navigate your site and find information? Does the design get in the way of your message? Check the sites on usability for information.
