Create an Internet Workshop or Task Sheet

This is an opportunity for the Level Two (Instructional Level) person who wants to use Microsoft Word or Netscape Composer to create an Internet project for the students to use as part of the curriculum. Align the workshop with content standards. Find and evaluate sites that you can use with your curriculum and paste them into a document. Each of these sites can be made active so your students could just click and view the site right from your document on the desktop or one that you print for students to refer to. Develop questions and tasks for students to use with the sites you find.

Purpose to be able to use a word processor or web authoring tool to create a an Internet student activity that can be used on each computer or posted on the Internet
Objectives: review and identify curriculum to use Internet resources align workshop to content standards have document and a browser open find, evaluate, and use relevant sites copy and paste URLs write description with activity related to location make and use bookmarks and Hyperlinks save as html file, open in browser and share with others	NCATE Standards: 1.2.3, 2.3.1, .2.3.2, 2.4.8 ISTE Standards and Performance Indicators I. B., II. A., C., D., and E., III. A. and D., IV. A., VI. A. and E.
