Create a PowerPoint Presentation

This is an opportunity for the Level One (Knowledge Level) person who wants to learn the basics of PowerPoint to create a simple linear presentation. PowerPoint is a fun and easy program to learn. Even though it is easy-to-use, you need certain strategies to be able to create professional looking presentations. Our coaches infuse humor in clear and practical steps that build on skills so you are able to transfer what you learned to your classroom or job.

Purpose to be able to create a simple presentation using PowerPoint
Objectives create a simple linear presentation use the outline view to develop content for presentation import images apply designs and font styles and colors for master view use visual effects such as transitions and builds print presentation with 3 slides per page connect computer to TV or projector for presentation	NCATE Standards: 1.2.2 , 2.4.7 IISTE Standards and Performance Indicators: I.A., V. C. and D.
Types of Opportunities: five to six hour workshop with others at the same level or two hour one-on-one coaching sessions including follow-up	Prerequisites Paint and Draw Tools or its equivalent
