Data in Any Form or Template

This is an opportunity for the Level One (Knowledge Level) or Level Two (Instructional) person who wants to create a spreadsheet and design a project where students collect and compile data in a simple graph. Project-based learning activities can involve statistics, numbers, or data compiled in a variety of forms. In many cases, it can be best represented in a chart or graph. This opportunity will have you design a template that your students can use to input data they collect and then create a chart or graph as part of a curriculum project that is aligned to content standards.

Purpose to be able to a create a project where students collect data in a graph or chart
Objectives merge data from a spreadsheet to another document format spreadsheets to use as templates and forms design a project where students will create simple graphs and charts	NCATE Standards: 1.2.1, 2.2.2, 3.1.2 ISTE Standards and Performance Indicators: I.A., III.A. and C., V.C
Types of Opportunities: three to five hour hands-on small group workshop with others at the same level or two hour one-on-one coaching session	Prerequisite Creating Charts and Graphsor its equivalent

This eCoach opportunity can be bundled with other opportunities in an institute with a focus on a particular curriculum area, grade level, or project. We can prepare your coaches so they can provide this opportunity for a separate fee. Our coaches will include relevant eCoach guides as part of any opportunity or purchase any guide separately.
