  This is an opportunity for the Level One (Knowledge) person who wants to create a website from scratch. Use basic storyboarding and planning strategies to design the structure and components of the website.  Develop a web site with links to external addresses, other areas on the page, and to email. Include images, text, tables, and background colors.
 
Purpose
to be able to create a simple well-designed website
Objectives
  1. evaluate websites for good instructional design, layout, content, ease of use, validity, and relevance to topics
  2. storyboard and plan design of website
  3. create an images folder
  4. import backgrounds, color, images
  5. insert and modify text and tables
  6. create anchors and links to other pages in your site and URLs
  7. create an email link
  8. create a website with several pages and links around a topic or theme
  9. view source and change title
  10. save and share website

Length and Types
  • twelve or more hours hands-on workshop in a small group with others at the same level or
  • three to four hours coaching session one-on-one or with team of two
 Prerequisite
Paint and Draw Tools, Information Literacy Skills or equivalent 

This eCoach opportunity can be bundled with other opportunities in an institute or staff development program with a focus on a particular curriculum area, grade-level, or project.  Our coaches can prepare your coaches to provide this service onsite for a separate fee. Our coaches will include relevant eCoach guides as part of any opportunity or purchase guides separately.
