This is an opportunity for the Level Three (Mentor Level) person who encourages collaboration among their students, shares projects that use technology, and mentors other teachers. Collaboration among others at the same level is the best way to develop and plan and implement effective strategies for the use of technology with your students. Collaboration helps teachers reach outside of their classroom walls to share and reflect with others on teaching practices that worked and discuss why some strategies did not work.

Purpose 
to be able to design, implement, and manage project-based collaborative learning activities and assessment strategies for the varied learning styles of students
Objectives:
  1. identify different learning styles and multiple intelligences of your students
  2. explore and evaluate different technology to use in learning activities
  3. develop activities and rotation strategies for equitable use of technology
  4. design and deliver a learning activity and assess how grouping strategies and activities were effective in an online dialogue
  5. collaborate with other teachers to share ideas

Length and Types
  • six to twelve hour minimum workshop in a small group with others at the same level plus follow up in online discussion board
Prerequisites
Classroom Management for Technology Use or its equivalent

Our coaches can prepare your coaches to provide this service onsite for a separate fee. This eCoach opportunity can be grouped together with other opportunities in an institute with a focus on a specific curriculum area and/or grade-level or bring in our coaches to support your staff development program. Our coaches will include relevant eCoach guides as part of this opportunity or purchase guides separately.
