Homework Choices

HOMEWORK CHOICE 1 (3 Pages Total)

1)  1 Parent/Guardian Homework Form

2)  Choose 2 pages from http://www.math-drills.com/ that will improve your mathematical ability.  Choose them, print them, complete them, and have parents sign them.  All work must be shown.  If you can not show your work, describe HOW you solved 3 problems on the back of each sheet.

HOMEWORK CHOICE 2 (3 Pages Total)

2)  Choose 2 pages from Mr. Chinchen’s Homework Box that will improve your mathematical ability.  Choose them, complete them, and have parents sign them.  All work must be shown.  If you can not show your work, describe HOW you solved 3 problems on the back of each sheet.

HOMEWORK CHOICE 3  (2 Pages Total)

  • You may choose to research a mathematical topic that you need help with.  Find a resource that will help you better understand the topic. 
  • Resources could include, but are not limited to:
  • While engaged in your research, print and complete this handout. (Content or Skill Form)
  • Finally, find a worksheet on http://www.math-drills.com/ that matches your research and complete it.

HOMEWORK CHOICE 4 (1 Page Total)

  • Teach a 3 to 5 minute mathematical lesson.  You may choose to teach your lesson to your class on Fridays, to a parent, or to a sibling with a parent or teacher watching.
  • You may also choose to teach a 3 to 5 minute mathematical lesson through video such as this one:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnVr_x7c79w.
  • Before teaching the lesson, you are to complete this handout (Content or Skill Form)
