Students will research Magnetism and Electromagnetism using a web resource list called The Strength of Magnets. These sites have been chosen for their child-friendly language and content. To take notes, children will be able to choose between Worksheet # 1 and Worksheet # 2.

By taking notes and exploring the web resources, the students will be exposed to facts about magnets, electromagnets, and compasses, preparing them for the topics explored in this unit.
