|Jumpstart thinking about How Plants Grow|
40 MINUTES, Day 3
Show students a powerpoint to introduce the idea of thinking of what part of plants we eat. Bring students to the section vegetables in this WRL. After they have explored it on their own for 5-10 minutes, hand out the worksheet that asks them to identify which plant parts different fruits and vegetables come from. For children who finish early, give them the bonus worksheet where they can find their own fruit or vegetable, draw and label it.
