Student Testimonials

Ask students to provide you testimonials about your teaching effectiveness. You can collect them as interviews, examples of comments on work, letters, audio files, and video podcasts.

Since students are the immediate beneficiaries of the teacher, they are in an ideal position to report or comment on which instructional strategies helped them learn the most, if you were available and provided ongoing support with useful comments on their work.

Ideas of student examples to include:
  • interviews of students after they completed a lesson
  • feedback, post-assessment surveys, or notes from students
  • honors received from students such as voting you best teacher in school
  • interviews of past students and how your teaching impacted their later class work
