When I decided to go to UC Davis and major in Italian and Linguistics, I certainly left quite a few people wondering what on earth I was ever going to do with that!

I had always wanted to teach but never dreamed that a full time job teaching Italian was possible, imagine my surprise when a job opened up at South San Francisco High School 3 weeks after graduation!

In the spirit of an interesting first year teaching, I present to you some ideas an resources to teach Italian in a predominately Spanish teaching world.
