Abstract
The purpose of this project is to train teachers on the use of the web 2.0 tool VoiceThread and to provide them with the skills to utilize this technology in the classroom. This creative work applies differentiating instruction, storytelling, auditory, and contextual cuing as a tool for educators.  VoiceThread uses modalities that are far enhanced over typical web 2.0 tools that are text.  It has the potential for major impact on education and enhances the significance of projects.  Both print-based and computer materials for web based learning were developed using the VoiceThread website and My-eCoach.  Peer and expert evaluation reviews suggested changes for training purposes, offline access and as a reference. The expert and peer reviewers reported that these materials were highly effective by making the integration of this technology an effective tool for communication, and understandable and useful in a classroom setting.
