- Students were introduced to the investigation using a teacher created PowerPoint that utilized information from the Sheep in a Jeep lesson found in Chapter 14 of Picture-Perfect Science Lessons. (see Resources)
- Students were read Sheep in a Jeep to jumpstart their thinking about the concepts of force and motion. Students were asked to give a "thumbs-up" when they think they heard an example of a force or a motion.
- After reading the selection, a discussion was held to elaborate the main points of force and motion.(slide 4) Afterwards, using a T-Chart to guide student talk, students are asked to name examples of force and motion from the book. (slide 5) We evaluated the answers given or checked to see how we did. (slide 6)
