Introduction to the World of Butterflies

Butterflies are one of the most fascinating species of animals!  They start off as a tiny egg the size of a pin head, and then hatch into a caterpillar.  The caterpillar begins to eat alot of leaves to get fat. When the caterpillar has had enough to eat, it then creates a safe cocoon around itself.  About 1 week later, the cocoon cracks and a beautiful butterfly emerges!
