Trick your Eyes
Is it an optical illusion?  Just move your head or eyes side-by-side and it looks like the bars in the circle are moving. You can use any of the illusions on Eluzions  to engage your teachers or students. (http://eluzions.com/Illusions/) This illusion is called Ouchi.

Ghostly black patches appear at the white intersections. The illusion was noted by Hermann (1870) while reading a book on sound by Tyndall (1869). Can you see the black dots at the intersections?
