Research a Portrait Artist

• What kind of artwork does this artist do?
• What is it about the artwork that I like?
• Do I wish that I could do artwork like this?
• How many geometric shapes can you find in each portrait?

1. Brainstorm a list of things that can be included in your self-portrait using the brainstorm.doc.
2. Go to Draw a Self Portrait for some ideas on how to create your self-portrait.
3. Think about the artists you just researched and what they used in the picture to represent who they are.
4. Add things that tell about you: refer to your brainstorm.
5. Create your Self-Portrait.
6. Tell about your self-portrait, what you are doing, and the things you included in your picture.
