Research a Portrait Artist
(Highpoints Level A)
Study three different artist's self-portraits and take notes about each artist, their life, and their work. Depending on your research skills, choose either portraitnotes1.doc or portraitnotes2.doc to help you organize your notes.
Questions to consider when researching each of the artists:
Create a Portrait Gallery

Brainstorm a list of things that can be included in your self-portrait using the brainstorm.doc.

Think about the artists you just researched and what they used in the picture to represent who they are.

Add things that tell about you: refer to your brainstorm.
- Create your Self-Portrait.
- Tell about your self-portrait, what you are doing, and the things you included in your picture.
