An ePortfolio is a collection of authentic and diverse evidence, drawn from a larger archive, that represents what a person or organization has learned over time.
The process you will be using to create your ePortfolio includes the following steps:
- Collect - Digital File Cabinet
This is where you collect artifacts to include in your ePortfolio.
- Plan - Decide Purpose, Audience and Goals.
This is where you can create different ePortfolios depending on your goals and audience. Sample templates are available under the Create tab to guide you.
- Create - Putting it All Together
You will be using the Universal Builder to clone and customize either one of our templates, from our sample ePortfolios or create a new one from scratch.
- Reflect- Reflect on the Process and Your Experiences
Reflection on one’s work is necessary if you as the ePortfolio owner are to learn from the process. We will show you how you can reflect about the evidence or artifact you chose.
- Publish - Present the ePortfolio to a real or virtual audience.
Here you will celebrate your accomplishments by sharing them with the world.
- Promote - Connect with others and receive feedback
We will show you how to share your ePortfolio with your intended audience and beyond.
Throughout this process, you will have several eCoaches and other members to connect with and share your ePortfolio. There are multiple templates and themes to choose from along with examples, resources, and research.
My eCoach members can join this group for $15/year to receive ongoing support as you build your ePortfolios. As a member of this community, you will also have access to all of our new themes for the Universal Builder.
