Pick a favorite book by Dr. Seuss? That's sooo difficult! But, if I must choose...First, it probably comes as no surprise that the The Lorax is one of my favorites. It has such a powerful message about what might happen if we don't take care of our friend, Planet Earth. Second, I also love The Sneetches because it teaches us about how foolish it is to judge others who look different than you. Finally, I love Green Eggs and Ham. But, who doesn't?? I can't wait for Dr. Seuss week!

Although I've read them all so many times I've lost count, my two favorite books would have to be Horton Hears a Who and the one with the Sneetches! I like reading Horton because it reminds me that we are all valuable and important...no matter how small and insignificant we feel. I like reading about the Sneetches because it reminds me how ridiculous people are sometimes and how we let the way people look determine how we feel about others! Dr. Suess was a very wise man!!

There are so many good ones, it's hard to pick just one! The Grinch who Stole Christmas really spoke to me this Christmas while Carl was listing all the things he wanted. I've always liked the rage in Green Eggs and Ham and how it just goes away when the guy finally just tries them. Dr. Seuss was a genius!
