Duration:
One month
Summary
This project will take students through the landforms of Ancient India to find out why these ancient people settled where they did. Students will research the lifestyle and culture in Ancient India. Students will come to understand why these people chose where and how they lived, and the importance of water on their lives.

Rationale
Students with low reading skills will have the ability to search on the computer, watch videos, and verbalize their findings. Students will make oral presentations, create visual aids, have productive discussions and debates because most of my students like to talk. Students will collect, analyze, and apply information gained to a report that will help them and others understand the influence water had on ancient civilizations as well as their own lives. This project will satisfy the needs of the visual, auditory, and
kinesthetic learner.
