Summary
This project teaches students to observe, measure, record and appreaciate the weather. Students will be completing daily weather tasks that will allow them to see patterns in weather.

Rationale
One of the first grade standards in science is to measure weather conditions with simple tools from day to day. This project introduces students to a thermometer, wind vane, and a rainfall gauge. Each student will learn how to read the tools, record their findings, and successfully meet the standard.
