Summary
Students will ultimately understand how a rainforest supports life. Students will further come to understand and appreciate how living things within an ecosystem are co-dependent upon each other. Through various activities, students will learn about the aspects of a rainforest, and will finally create their own rainforest.

Rationale
Besides understanding different ecosystems and environments, students need to realize their intrinsic role in maintaining a healthy world. Through these activities, students will come to better appreciate and cherish life.
