This web resource list includes a few sites about volcanoes. Not only is there information on the sites, but also amazing pictures! Students and teachers may even email a question to a volcanologist!

•USGS Volcanoes of the United States
This site offers some pictures of volcanoes that are in the continental United States, Hawaii, and Alaska. It contains information about the volcano, such as how tall it is and how many eruptions it has had. The text is too advanced for younger elementary students, but they would enjoy the pictures and learning about how many volcanoes are actually in the United States.
    •Volcano World
This site is amazing! Students and teachers can learn absolutely everything and anything about volcanoes. Students can get updates about recent volcanic eruptions, they can email a question to a volcanologist, read reports of people who personally explored volcanoes or witnessed eruptions, and there is even a kids’ corner filled with activities and pictures.
