Experience the World with the Five Senses!
What are your Five Senses?

Project Overview
This integrated lesson plan will incorporate prior knowledge and introduce the body parts we use to experience our surroundings, everyday life and the world with our five senses. We will use interactive sense activities to observe, record and verbally describe the senses of sight, hearing/sound, taste, smell and touch.

Rationale
Kindergarten standards require basic knowledge of the five senses. After completion of the integrated lesson the students will be able to identify and describe the five senses and the body parts used to experience their five senses in every day life. Students will be able to give examples of each sense. This knowledge is the basic foundation to observation and experimentation with every thing we do in life.
