In this activity, you will be able to draw pictures of what you think Ohlone Native Americanís looked like. You can include in your pictures any other things you think the Ohlone may have used or had in their lives.
Then we will compare your drawings to what the Ohlone actually looked liked and actually used. You may be surprised to see how different the Ohlone actually are than what you first thought.

We are going to discuss what a stereotype is and how stereotypes are not realistic ideas of what people really are like. We will see more examples of what the Ohlone really looked like and what their homes and various cultural artifacts looked like in our next activity!
