Prior knowledge about topic:
- Students have already rehearsed the piece and have learned about melody.
In Class Activities:
- Students will analyze their music and mark where they have the melody and accompaniment.
- Students will then mark in where other have the melody and accompaniment.
- Students will play through the piece melody only, then accompany only.
- Students will explain the role difference between melody and accompaniment.
