Digital Storytelling: Through the Eyes of Others
Where ideas, imagination, and emotions come together...
Examples of digital stories from around the world.

Stories provide rich experiences in communication...

People create digital stories for different reasons.  Digital stories are written for personal, professional, or educational purposes.  Personal stories represent an individual’s journey.  These stories communicate a personal reflection of an important event or idea.  Professional stories represent a company’s philosophy or product.  These stories are intended for larger audiences to promote a company’s ideas, events, and goods.  Educational stories reinforce individual and group learning, through a variety of instructional activities.  These stories allow students to research, develop, and practice skills in conventional and technological formats, while utilizing communications skills during project building and presentation.

Sidney,

I enjoyed your project a great deal. I love photography I especially love old pictures, how simple they always look but they tell a lot in their simplicity. Digital stories are a great way to learn about other people’s journey, they life history and the experiences. Your project is very informative and fun. You have provided a lot of resources and reading material. The only thing I had a hard time with was finding your comment box. It would be a great idea if you have on your last page in a place where everyone can see it.
