My Philosophy
My philosophy of education is that all students can learn, especially when the learnining environment supports recognizing success and exploration.  Having been an educator for 35 years it is very important to me that public opinion on education is one that is positive and looks to the future of our youth as the leaders of our lives.

My Philosophy
I believe it is very important to give each student  the opportunity to be the best student and citizen of his/her community and give a viable contribution to it.  It is my job to teach all Pinellas County  and Sunshine State standards, build student confidence, and work with others to develop life long learners and a joy for learning.

My Community
I live in the beautiful city of Clearwater, Florida.  It is an awesome community that hosts many opportunities.  Our schools are great.   Our resources, such as the powered sugar beaches, cultural centers, and wonderful climate make us a glorious utopia.

My Environment
I teach second grade at Safety Harbor Elementary.  It is a neighborhood school that has around 600 students.  We are a caring, dedicated, hardworking faculty who want all to succeed and achieve their personal best. Our student body consists of various ethnic cultures that enriches the climate of our school and teaches our students the importance of working together in a global world.

My Roles and Responsibilities
I am here to inspire high standards and limitless potential in each and every one of my students.  I am here to guide students to strive for their best every day.

My Philosophy
I am here to guide children to shine their very brightest.  Each student in my class is brilliant in his or her own unique way, happily discovering amazing potential and possibilities every minute.  We should all reach for our very best and beyond in whatever we do.  As teachers, parents, administrators, students; we are all a team, striving for excellence and highest student achievement.  I am also promoting and cultivating a love of learning that will last a lifetime.  Learning, no matter where it happens, is the best gift of all, helping us evolve as the remarkable "works in progress" that we are.  It will be a wonderful year!

My Philosophy
The ESOL Program is designed to meet communication and academic needs of limited English proficient students who come from an environment where the native language is other than English and who have difficulty understanding, reading, and writing English. The program provides them with the English languages skills necessary to function effectively in a regular school program. Furthermore, limited English proficient students are introduced to the various cultural aspects of American society so that they may participate fully in the community life of their new country in accordance with their age, interest, background, and abilities. They also are encouraged to share their own culture and make a significant contribution to the increasingly multicultural environment of their school community

My Roles and Responsibilities

To help students quickly attain English languages skills so they can succeed in all of their classes.

To provide instruction that satisfies cultural as well as language needs.

To promote an appreciation of different cultures and their contributions to our society.

In ESOL schools, students with limited English proficiency receive their language arts instruction from certified teachers using effective teaching methods. In addition, bilingual assistants help students in other subject area classes and provide assistance to families with home/school communications.
