|Analyzing a Newspaper|
Working in assigned groups of four, you will be give a copy of a newspaper to analyze. Each group will need to do the following:
1. Identify and list the different parts of the newspaper. (ex: articles, local news, editorials, cartoons, horoscope, classified ads.)
2. Find two headlines, write one page on what makes them interesting and make a prediction about the content of the article based on the headline only.
3. Using the "Inverted Pyramid Format" (linked below) your group will complete the "Newspaper Story Format" worksheet (linked below), using and article the group chooses from their paper.
