If you are an educator or planning to become one, join Epic Ed.  It is a new Professional Learning Network that was just launched in August, 2012.  It is up to the members to establish their needs and help develop content. Create a profile. Search the Resources, News, and Series.  Determine if there is a group you want to join.  The Technology Leaders Group is an open group you might consider joining.  Look through the Discussions and find one that interests you. You might consider joining the Digital Citizenship discussion (on page 3).   Read the discussion posts, and post your own ideas/comments/questions.   

Post in our Class disussion how Epic Ed as an online national professional learning network can help teachers and other educators connect, discuss, and learn about current issues and practices in education. 

If you are not an educator, be sure to take a look at Epic Ed and add your thoughts about the potential of an online professional network for educators.  How do you see this affecting you as a student or a parent?
