As citizens we should all be aware of how to make effective changes.

We all often question things in life and should be aware of how to make effective changes. In order to do this, we need to know the workings of the political system.  We will participate in activities that will make us knowledgeable about political parties, and how to effectively make change.  We will learn that:

• The Legislative Branch influences more than Missouri laws.
• Public service is an essential part of the political process.
• One person can make a difference.
• Democracy is the foundation on which our government is built upon.
• Decision making helps us to make positive decisions in our own lives
