Application Exemplary Online Instruction

Have faculty complete the Rubric for Online Instruction Self Assessment Form on their course. This will make them go through their course using the rubric to evaluate it. (I will take CSU Chico’s application and create a version specific to Mills.)



Have faculty give surveys to learners after each online activity to determine engagement and to get feedback on creating an improved activity for the next time.


They can use whatever survey tool they’d like. I’d like them to come up with different possibilities, to share with the others.


Web 2.0

Have faculty create an activity using Web 2.0 technologies and incorporate it into their course.


Again, I was going to list a bunch of possibilities here, but I’d rather see what the faculty come up with.

Have faculty use the UDL framework and incorporate it into their course.
