 The Civil War

Throughout history, people have had different ideas about important issues. Sometimes they are able to reach a compromise and sometimes they can not. Sounds familiar. We have all been in situations where we had to make a compromise or an agreement. Well, back in history in 1861 the Civil War started over the facts that people could not come to agreements concerning freedom. Freedom of people, freedom of state's rights, and making decsions. Some states were in agreement and others wanted no part of it. The United States started making new rules for new states entering the union and the southern states didn't agree with it. This resulted in the southern states to request to be suceded from the the United States itself. Things started getting out of control and the Civil War started. Let’s take a look at how things unfolded and how Florida played a role in this Civil War.
