An Epitaph is a brief poem inscribed on a tombstone praising the life of a deceased person usually with rhyming lines.

Today, we are writing epitaphs about everyday objects instead of a deceased person.

Step 1: Take some time to think about something you use all the time. It could be a computer, a toaster, or an electric toothbrush.....the choice is yours.

Step 2: Once you have chosen your topic, you can use Popplet to brainstorm a list of words that are associated with your topic by clicking on the image below. Ask your teacher for the password before clicking on the image.

Step 3: After you’ve brainstormed and written your everyday object’s epitaph and are ready to publish it, click on the image below. Be sure to check with your teacher to make sure you save your artifact correctly.
