I titled this Website Phatgrohopy because our photographic literacy is in question. Nearly everyone has a camera in their pocket but that does not make them a photographer.  We all took years to learn to read and write in school, and that still does not make us all "writers." We all can click the shutter button, and many consider themselves photographers, but few have taken 10 minutes, if even that, to learn basic compostional elements in photography.  

       Today, pictures are how we communicate socially in so many forums it is becoming invaluable to know how to use these tools effectively.  This website is for my high school students taking my digital photography class but it is also available to the general public who might be interested in completing some assignments to improve their photographic skills.
