The key to being successful on the ketogenic diet is to plan meals and prep them. This keeps the process simple and easy to follow. It also helps save money and motivates a person to consider healthy options vs. snacks. Purchasing good meal prep containers in either glass or BPA free plastics that are easy to store will ensure a successful transition to the keto lifestyle.
The meals below were prepped by the author Nika Glover-Ward. They have very little carbs and the meals last anywhere from 2 to 5 days. It's suggested that seafood be prepped no more than two days in advance and that it is the first meal of the week to be eaten. Foods like cauliflower can take the place of rice for those who need to feel as if they are getting a carb.
