Numbered and Bullet lists

  • Type your list with a return or enter at the end of each list item.
  • Select the text.
  • Choose Numbered list for a numbered list.
  • Choose Bullet list to see how it looks with bullets.

TIP

Have you noticed that when you hit return you get a space between the lines?

  • Actually, when you save or send your message or post, the extra space does not appear.

  • If this extra space bothers you, hold down the Shift key when you click return OR

  • Select the text and choose the bullet or number list.

Bullet or Number lists appear with a line space between bullets in the edit mode but will appear single spaced on the actual website.

Add a Block Quote

Do you ever see indented quotes in the middle of a web page and wonder how they do that? You can do that by typing a quote or paragraph that you want to stand alone as a quote.

"When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us."

Cut, Copy, and Paste

Select text to cut, copy, and paste.

You can also paste as code or paste as word or from Google docs.

NOTE: When you paste text from Word or Google docs, the bad code is removed. You may notice when you paste text from Word, and review in preview mode, the formatting is all messed up. You can paste using Paste as Word to remove the code or the Remove Format Tx tool can also remove the code.
