What
are the trends? Did you know that you can search for a specific topic
and find what city or region is the most interested in that topic? Google Trends
is a new feature of Google where you can check out the trends on any
topic. They have some examples for you to try or put in your own search
topic. Click on the example for flu and you get a line graph with labels: ![]() The labels are links to articles that have had the most hits: ![]() Check out the graph that shows the cities, regions, or languages that are seeking the most information or had the most hits on this topic: ![]() Think about using this with your students for math or statistics. You can even compare trends by putting in two topics separated by a comma. Here’s a search for Good and Evil. Which one do you think people look for the most? ![]() |
