What can she do?

I am a published author in ERIC, the U.S. Dept. of Education’s website, and the professional publication, Teacher Network Handbook. Several of my curriculum plans are posted on educational websites on the Net. It is my passion to teach educational technology with students, focusing on two major areas of concern:

to become literate on paper and digitally, and

to present aesthetically pleasing products.

My credentials and experience cover three fields of expertise:  Literacy, Musical Theatre, and Educational Technology.  I am capable of handling positions in Reading, Drama, and the Computer.

  • As a Reading, English, and Drama Teacher, I taught elementary and middle school students how to read and write and how to deliver scripts and interpret monologues with meaning and expression.
  • As an Academic Interventional Specialist, I taught students about Computer Graphics, introducing pre-selected and kid-friendly Website Searches. I also researched and created WebQuest Designs to enhance my students’ knowledge in the science and social studies content areas.
  • As a Professional Developer, I coached teachers in English Language Arts and Social Studies standards, provided teachers with curriculum resources, modeled literacy lessons and computer graphics.

I am certain my skills and talents could benefit your staff and students.  We should get together to discuss these endless possibilities in greater detail. Thank you for your interest.
